Our longest-running campaign: student-led fundraising and awareness that puts real dollars behind patients, families, and research.
Blood Cancer United is our longest-running partnership. Here's what our student-led team, led by Avni Gupta, has built together so far.
Our team took part in Blood Cancer United's Student Visionaries of the Year (SVOY) campaign: a leadership and fundraising challenge for student changemakers, run over just seven weeks in 2026. Our pillar was patient support: we wrote articles about patient support, encouraged volunteering at hospitals, and ran a letter-writing campaign for patients. Raising what we did in only seven weeks is something we're really proud of.

How our team raises funds and awareness for Blood Cancer United throughout the year, alongside smaller efforts like our team-wide letter-writing campaign, sending notes of encouragement to patients.
Our Walkathon is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Held at Doc Harris Stadium, participants wore ribbons in honor of those affected by blood cancer and walked lap after lap to raise money and awareness.
We sold handmade jewelry at local Camas businesses, including Oak Tree Station and a local bookstore.
Compass Coffee Roasting generously donated a portion of proceeds during a dedicated benefit week to support Blood Cancer United. We also spread awareness in their shops and worked with their management to coordinate promotion of the program.
We ran a large-scale Valentine's Bake Sale, baking and selling over 700 treats (cupcakes, cake pops, brownies, and cupid crunch popcorn) across downtown Camas and our local community. It was one of our most successful fundraisers to date.
We partnered with a wide range of local Camas businesses, who generously donated items and gift cards for our silent auction.
